Breathe deep...

To Whom It May Concern

I have something that could be of interest to someone in my possesion. When going through the mess that is my old room at my parents, I found something I had completely forgotten about. And this person did as well. It might be worth something to them, if not sentimental value. And how ironic I should have it.

It is a book. A classic, J.R.R. Tolkeins The Two Towers to be exact, second edition. You know, the nifty rare one with the map? Also, a term of agreement paper dealing with a certain mobile home park, and a card from Sears dating back to 1979 for a free gold ring upon the birth of a child. I believe someone once told me who it belonged to, that someone's grandfather, who has since parted from this earth, and possesions of his seem to be few and far between.

The book is in excellent condition save the paper cover, which was shabby when it was placed in my vehicle, but the book is unharmed. It now rests in my bookcase, ready to go home to it's rightful owner, as soon as I get my grandfather's martial arts book that was withheld from me for selfish reasons. I'd hate to think someone stole from a dead man...and hate to accuse someone of it. And considering how kind I have been considering certain circumstances revolving around my son, I don't see why this small trade couldn't be made. But, if I am not contacted within two weeks, I will assume that this wonderful relic of Middle Earth will become mine, as my grandfather's book became someone elses, and I will destroy, sell or keep it as I see fit.

You know who you are. And you have two weeks.
