growing up Been screwing with templates all morning, and now that I can host images on diaryland soon I will have a better one, hopefully one I can stick with. I've got both children this week, and last night Mark's mom made the announcement that she wasn't going to be "keeping Grace full time anymore." Mark was all about jumping down her throat, I guess because she said she wouldn't pick her up from daycare or come get her during the day at all anymore. I was offended that she actually thought she was keeping her full time. I am the one that gets up in the morning with the kids and make breakfast, entertain Grace all day with something or another, get her dressed give her baths, and then Mark comes home. And sure, she might pick her up from daycare, but she only keeps her for a couple of hours until we retrieve her. And it's been two months since the last time she came and got her at any point during the day when it wasn't for an appointment or to take her to daycare. And even then it was few and far between, so I've been the one to take care of her mostly, even more than Mark for god's sake. So how dare she say she's not going to be keeping her full time anymore. She never did in the first damn place. Grr. Mr. Jonathan is growing up so fast. He's already got two bottom teeth, and he's crawling very good now. We got him some toys and a walker, because he never had a whole lot of toys, never really had the need for them. Now he's got an aquarium fish bowl like his bouncer and his crib aquarium, some stacking rings and a blow up thingy he can crawl with, among others. He calls Mark na-na, with an occasional da thrown in, I'm momma and that's also his favorite word right now, he says abu and hi. He also has an evil giggle that is just too cute, and he coos like a dove and is the most adorable baby. Soon to be a baby no more. He's going to be 8 months old on Thursday and I feel like I'm losing my little baby. Mark was folding laundry yesterday and found his preemie socks...he was born 4 lbs and 12 ounces, the smallest thing...and the sock fit on Marks first finger. I barely remember that. And now he's so healthy, *knock on wood* never been sick, such a friendly happy baby...but becoming a little man so quick... Well, I have more laundry to do, a kitchen to clean, a roast to fix, and some kids to put down for a nap. And other assorted fun tasks. Yay. Dammit Mark, unlock your damn diary and update you commander you! :) -Petra written on 2003-05-19 at 11:43 a.m. by sweetsolace. |
